Der zweite Gebietswein von Michael Gross stammt aus der Region Maribor (direkt an der österr. Grenze südlich von Leutschach) und ist eine Cuvée aus Sauvignon Blanc und Welschriesling wie wir sie häufig auch in der Steiermark finden. In der Nase fruchtig offen, gelber Apfel, Quitte, reife Stachelbeeren, Grapefruitzeste, ganz zarte Kräuternoten und eine dezente Spur Mineralität. Am Gaumen eine zart schmelzige Textur, begleitet von einer knackigen Säure, der Sauvignon hält sich elegant zurück, präsentiert sich sehr frisch, aber alles sehr stimmig und mit gutem Trinkfluss.
