Karl Alphart has long been a renowned specialist for Burgundy varieties (Neuburger, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir), because he knows how to elicit all possible facets from those difficult to handle varieties. The focus is also on the indigenous varieties Zierfandler and Rotgipfler, regional varieties of the "Southern Railway" officially pronounced Thermenregion. His Rotgipfler Top Selektion from the Rodauner vineyard, matured in large wooden barrels, belongs to the best white wines in Austria. With the 2007 harvest, the new cellar was finished.
