A young winemaker on the steep way up. It was only in 1999 when Werner Achs began making wines with inherited 1.3 acres of its own vineyards. His first Zweigelt from the 2000 vintage immediately won the Falstaff-Zweigelt-Grand-Prix - and the following vintages always were amont the best three.
