When Hans Feiler took over the winery in 1965 he installed modern cellar technology into the cellar vault of this baroque House from the 15th century. Today his son Kurt, who also spent part of his apprenticeship in Bordeaux, is managing the winery. Not only white wines and red wines but also sweet wines play an important role in the Feiler-Artinger winery.
Sweet wines from this region and especially the Ruster Ausbruch, which has been produced for more than 400 years, are among the best of the country and Feiler-Artinger is producing one of the most impressive examples the Ruster Ausbruch Essenz. But the winery is also known for their lusty red wine blends Solitaire and the Cabernet Franc dominated 1014.
