The Heinrich estate is run as a true family-business. In addition to Father Johann his daughter Silvia is back in the winery since several years. The most important variety is the Blaufränkisch which is planted on more than 70 % of their vineyards. Zweigelt and Pinot Noir are the other two important grapes.
The winery only works with grapes form their own vineyards which come from up to over 50-year-old vines. They produce very mineral, fruity and complex wines. "Great wine starts in the mind and heart of the winemaker," says the senior. The success of recent years with several top rankings, confirmed their commitment and striving for quality.
