Already since 1985 Heribert Bayer works as one of the few Nécociant Eleveurs in Austria. His big success is based on his famous Blend the “In Signo Leonis”. Due to this success and because his son Patrick decided to follow in his footsteps they built a modern winery in Neckenmarkt in 2002.
The home of their wines is the Hochberg near Neckenmarkt in the heart of the Mittelburgenland, probably one of the best single vineyards in Austria. Their wines are distinctive with high concentration, a great structure and also noble elegance. With his blend “In Signo Sagittarii” Patrick shows that he is as skillful as his father.
